About This ROM
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort takes the competition away from Spocco Square and heads to Wuhu Island, where there’s a lot more to do than simply jump from one match to another. Twelve sports are included, covering familiar favorites such as Bowling, Tennis, Golf, Basketball and Volleyball alongside Boxing, Archery and Table Tennis. The stranger additions are part of the fun too: Thumb Wrestling joins the lineup, while Skateboarding, Power Cruising and Prop Plane let you get around the island in completely different ways.
Wuhu Island isn’t just a backdrop. You can actually spend time exploring it, hunt down sightseeing spots and collect Spocco Photos when you’re not chasing a high score. There’s also Island Crown for solo play, where stronger opponents—including Island Champions and Legends—stand between you and the top rank. Local matches support up to four people, while online modes give you the option of relaxed games or more competitive Pro League matches. Most activities are built around Joy-Con 2 motion controls, so it keeps the physical, pick-up-and-play feel that made Nintendo’s sports games so easy to enjoy with friends and family.
